One of the toughest things, I think, when it comes to climbing on the wagon, is the prospect that this transformation we wish to achieve isn’t going to happen overnight. Listen to the snake oil salesmen in the health industry, and you’ll be convinced that you can go from couch potato to ripped super athlete in *insert favourite 30/60/90 day time frame here*.

I know I thought I could do that.

But the challenge is knowing that this is highly unlikely to happen, and that if you want those changes, it’s going to take months if not years. But wait, that’s not all…..if you do pull off the transformation, it doesn’t stop. It continues… forever.

Already, I can feel the doubt creeping in. Hell of a way to introduce a blog that hopes to motivate people into commiting to a healthier and more active life style, isn’t it. 🙂

I’m not much of an expert on fitness or healthy lifestyle. I’m learning as I go along. But I have discovered one thing.

People who share your ideals, and goals. But more importantly, people who are willing to take time out of their lives to motivate and support you every step of the way.

This is what this blog is all about.

There are a myriad of blogs/forums or sites like this, and we’re not in competition with them. This is just us, and we’re here for each other.
